UF among eight Florida institutions to share $4.2M in Alzheimer’s research grants

Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo announced more than $4.2 million in grants from the Ed and Ethel Moore Alzheimer’s fund during a visit to the University of Florida on Monday. Eight institutions across the state will receive the money to support research into Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. UF will receive nearly $550,000 spread across three separate research projects.
