14-year-old arrested after bomb remark overheard at Santa Fe High School

A 14-year-old girl was arrested at Santa Fe High School in Alachua after a guidance counselor overheard her claim to have a bomb in her backpack. A search of the student turned up nothing, and she told authorities the comment was meant as a joke. She was charged with making a false report concerning a bomb or weapon of mass destruction and suspended from school.
