Grand jury indicts Gainesville mother in first-degree murder of infant daughter

An Alachua County grand jury has indicted Tierra Scott-Franklin, 23, on a charge of first-degree premeditated murder in the death of her seven-month-old daughter. Scott-Franklin had called 911 in January reporting her baby in distress; emergency responders found the child unresponsive in a bathtub at Sweetwater Square Apartments.
