Grand jury indicts two men for first-degree murder in 2022 Gainesville graduation party killing

An Alachua County grand jury has indicted Geremy Navarro and Nathaniel Kendrick on first-degree murder charges in the 2022 death of 16-year-old Zhane Sanders, who was killed at a high school graduation party in Gainesville. The two men were originally arrested in November 2024, more than two years after the shooting.
