Newberry’s Tavis Honeycutt named Florida Class 2A Baseball Player of the Year

Tavis Honeycutt, a Newberry High School baseball player committed to the University of Florida, has been named the Florida Dairy Farmers FHSAA Class 2A Player of the Year and is a finalist for Mr. Baseball. Union County coach Jiwan James was also recognized, earning the Florida Dairy Farmers Rural Coach of the Year award.
