Alachua County athlete Kiondre Brown heads to 2026 Special Olympics USA Games

Kiondre Brown, a multi-sport Alachua County competitor with a decade of Special Olympics experience, will represent Team Florida in basketball at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota, running June 20–26. Brown previously earned a bronze medal in flag football at the 2022 games and was named tournament MVP after his Unified basketball team won a national championship in 2023. He is among nearly 170 Special Olympics Florida athletes and partners set to compete alongside more than 3,000 athletes from across the country.
