Florida AG sues TikTok over alleged exposure of minors to explicit content

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier filed a civil lawsuit against TikTok on Monday, alleging the platform is exposing underage users to explicit and pornographic material in violation of its own guidelines. The action follows Florida’s House Bill 3, enacted two years ago, which bars children under 14 from social media and requires platforms to terminate accounts that don’t meet age requirements.
