About 3,000 UF Health Shands nurses ratify new union contract

Union members representing roughly 3,000 registered nurses at UF Health Shands voted Friday to approve a new labor contract. The agreement includes hourly wage increases ranging from one to four dollars, along with merit-based raises. The contract also bolsters the process nurses can use to raise workplace grievances.
