Gainesville groups mobilize aid for Venezuela after earthquake kills 2,200

A magnitude earthquake struck Venezuela on June 24, pushing the death toll above 2,200 with numbers still climbing. UF’s Venezuelan Student Association and Florida-based relief organizations are collecting donations and coordinating humanitarian assistance in response to the disaster.
