Micanopy ranch’s two water buffalo are among America’s rarest rodeo performers

A family at Triple Cross Ranch in Micanopy keeps two water buffalo, Banjo and Harley, that travel the rodeo circuit as performing animals. Later this month, north-central Florida residents can watch the buffalo jump through fire at a rodeo celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary.
