Newberry Community School Board accepts Title I plan, elects officers ahead of opening

The Newberry Community School Board held a meeting roughly three weeks before the school’s scheduled opening, during which it accepted a Title I federal funding plan and elected officers for the 2026-27 year. The board also adopted new policies and approved revisions to the employee handbook. The meeting included a farewell to Chuck Clemons.
