Alachua County accepting Small Grant Initiative applications through Aug. 26

The Alachua County Commission has opened applications for its Small Grant Initiative, which offers up to $5,000 to qualifying nonprofits and small businesses. Eligible organizations must have no more than 25 full-time employees and a net worth under $1 million, and each may submit only one application electronically by 2 p.m. on August 26. Awarded funds would cover the period from October 1 through September 30, 2027.
