GHS alumna Carrie Carusone brings indie film ‘It Ends’ to theaters nationwide

Carrie Carusone, a 2016 Gainesville High School graduate who now works as a Brooklyn-based director and producer, co-produced the independent horror film ‘It Ends’ and served as its production designer. The film, which follows four college graduates on a nightmarish road trip, is set for a national theatrical release on Aug. 28 after premiering at SXSW and becoming available for digital rental last December. Distribution was picked up by independent company Neon, and the film has drawn strong reviews.
