Four injured after Gainesville police cruiser collides with Marion County school bus
A Gainesville Police Department cruiser struck a Marion County school bus on Southwest 49th Avenue, injuring four people, according to Florida Highway Patrol troopers who responded to the scene. Twelve children were aboard the bus along with a driver and a bus aide at the time of the crash. The officer was among those hurt in the collision.
