Florida Rep. Fabian Basabe found liable for sexual harassment, ordered to pay $450K

A jury deliberating for roughly two hours found Florida House Rep. Fabian Basabe liable for sexual harassment and defamation in a civil trial, awarding $450,000 in damages. Basabe, who represented himself, rested his case without calling witnesses and was reprimanded by Judge Lee Marsh multiple times for violating court orders.
