Levy County detectives arrested 19-year-old Caden White of Archer after an investigation found he had transmitted, uploaded, and sold child sexual abuse material online. A search warrant was executed at the residence he shared with his parents, where he admitted to posting the content; charges also include possession and distribution of bestiality material. White is being held at the Levy County Detention Bureau on a $640,000 bond.

Sean Lozano, who was named as GOP gubernatorial candidate James Fishback’s running mate in late June, is under criminal investigation after the Lauderhill Police Department referred findings from an internal affairs probe to the State Attorney’s Office for the 17th Judicial Circuit. The investigation stems from a March 2025 incident involving Lozano and a woman at a bus terminal, according to the internal affairs report. The State Attorney’s public information officer confirmed prosecutors are actively reviewing the referral through the office’s Public Corruption Unit.
